Susan Brown

Susan Brown has been with PowerBridge since 2011 and serves as Project Coordinator with both development and operations responsibilities, including environmental and regulatory compliance. She has more than 25 years of diverse experience that includes advertising, marketing, and public relations as well as education and information technology.

Ernie Griggs

Ernie is Senior Vice President and Project Manager for PowerBridge, which he joined in 2005 to oversee the construction and commissioning of the Neptune HVDC undersea cable project between New Jersey and Long Island, New York. He later took on the same role for the Hudson HVDC undersea project. Ernie has more than 40 years of experience in the engineering and management of major projects, including both hydroelectric generation and long-distance HVDC transmission.

Chris Hocker

Chris, Vice President of Planning for PowerBridge, joined the company in 2005 to complete permitting for the Neptune project, and led the permitting effort for the Hudson Project. He oversees regulatory compliance for the operating projects in addition to leading permitting and external affairs responsibilities for projects in development. Chris has more than 35 years of experience in the energy business, largely with hydroelectric and other renewable projects, and served as President of the National Hydropower Association prior to his involvement in high voltage transmission.

Victor Holten

Victor, A Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sun2o, oversees project siting, land acquisition, and project development. Prior to co-founding Sun2o, Victor worked in the Corporate Valuation Support group of Constellation Energy. At Constellation, Victor was part of the project team which executed hundreds of megawatts of wind and solar development projects.

Corey Kupersmith

Corey, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Sun2o, oversees development strategy, market and financial diligence, and strategic partnerships. Prior to co-founding Sun2o, Corey worked in the Power & Renewable Investment Banking Group at BofA Merrill Lynch. At BofA Merrill, Corey worked with clients on the valuation, financing and sale of over 10,000 MW of renewable and fossil generation assets.

Carol Loughlin

Carol is based in Seattle, WA and serves as representative for the Cascade Project in Oregon and Washington based on years of energy project development, finance, and power marketing experience in the Pacific Northwest. President of Lakeridge Resources, Carol has over two decades of industry experience performing pro forma financial modeling and rate structure projections, renewable energy project and utility company valuation, due diligence, project budget development and tracking. Her roles have also included serving as an Independent Evaluator for utility RFPs, as a project manager for development-stage renewable energy projects and securing interconnection and transmission rights for utility-scale power generation projects.

John Ostrowski

John Ostrowski, PowerBridge Vice President - Construction, has 35 years of experience in the engineering and installation of electric power systems.  He began his career as an electrical engineer with Long Island Lighting Co., responsible for distribution and bulk transmission systems.  He then joined Pirelli/Prysmian Cables, where he directed the installation of numerous land-based and submarine cable projects, including the Neptune and Hudson transmission projects.  John later formed Power Installation & Design Group, and in association with Railroad Construction Company, Inc. was responsible for directing multi-million dollar transmission and substation projects.

Edward M. Stern

Ed, the CEO of PowerBridge, has led the company’s successful development efforts since 2005, responsible for more than 1300 MW of transmission capacity representing more than $1.5 billion in private capital investment. Ed has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, and was formerly CEO of Enel North America and its predecessor company, CHI Energy, Inc. Prior to joining CHI in 1991, Ed was a vice president with BayBanks, Inc., a Boston-based $10 billion financial services organization, where for six years he specialized in energy project finance, real estate restructurings and asset management.

Jim Sullivan

Jim Sullivan joined PowerBridge in 2011 as Vice President Operations. He is primarily responsible for operations and maintenance (“O&M”) and NERC reliability compliance for PowerBridge’s Neptune and Hudson transmission projects. Jim has more than 30 years’ experience in the engineering, operations, maintenance, and management of electric systems, mostly High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems. Prior to joining PowerBridge, Jim served as a consultant specializing in developing O&M and reliability compliance procedures for various major clients, including the Neptune Regional Transmission System. Jim’s earlier work experience includes over 10 years as a supervisor for a 2000-MW HVDC converter terminal in New England; and seven years with National Grid as Supervisor and Director of HVDC Operations and Maintenance for the New England/Hydro Quebec HVDC Interconnection.

Jeff Wood

Jeff joined PowerBridge in 2011. As Chief Commercial Officer he is primarily responsible for leading the financing effort for PowerBridge projects such as Hudson Transmission. Jeff is a former managing director at the investment bank Société Générale, where he was responsible for serving as financial advisor and for arranging $600 million in non-recourse project financing for the Neptune transmission project. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in project finance with involvement in raising more than $7 billion in debt and equity. Before joining PowerBridge, he was a Senior Vice President with Noble Environmental Power of Essex, Connecticut, responsible for raising debt and tax equity for a portfolio totaling 330 MW of wind power in New York State.
